A Local Sudbury Junk Removal Company
TCM Junk Removal is a locally operated junk removal company based in Sudbury, Ontario, with 7+ years in business serving Sudbury and area. We clear unwanted items out of homes, garages, basements, yards, rental units, offices and job sites across Greater Sudbury, then haul everything away so the space is ready to use again. It is a simple job to describe and a hard one to do yourself, and that is exactly why we exist.
Most people who call us are not short on motivation. They are short on a truck, a trailer, a second pair of hands and a free Saturday. The couch has to come down a narrow staircase, the old freezer weighs more than it looks, and the disposal site is across town. Our job is to take all of that off your plate in one visit, with one clear price agreed before anything moves.
Who We Work With
We work with homeowners who would like their weekend back, landlords and property managers turning a unit over between tenants, businesses clearing out offices and shops, contractors dealing with renovation debris, and families sorting through an estate after a loss. Every one of those jobs looks a little different, so we start by talking with you: what needs to go, where it is sitting, and when you would like it gone.
Some customers need a single item gone, like a mattress, a hot tub cover or a fridge that finally quit. Others need a full house emptied before a sale. Both get the same straightforward approach and the same respect for the property.
How We Do the Work
You get a clear quote before any work begins. The cost depends on how much space your items take up in the trailer, what the items are and how much labour it takes to get them out. If you describe the items in the quote form, we can usually give you a good idea of the price before we arrive.
On the day, we do the carrying. Items come out of the room they are actually in, not just from the curb, and we are careful with floors, doorways and railings on the way through. Anything you want to keep stays exactly where it is. When we leave, the space is clear and swept of the loose debris that comes with moving things that have sat for years.
Sudbury adds its own challenges. Snowbanks narrow driveways for half the year, many older homes have tight stairwells and low basement ceilings, and camps and rural properties can be a long way down a gravel road. We plan around all of it, so tell us about access when you call and we will come prepared.
Where Your Junk Goes
Once the trailer is loaded, we sort what we reasonably can. Usable furniture and household goods are directed toward donation where that is possible, recyclable material such as metal and electronics is separated for recycling, and the rest is taken to appropriate disposal facilities. Keeping usable items and recyclable material out of the landfill is part of doing the job properly.
Some items need special handling, including paint, chemicals, propane tanks and anything else that is hazardous or restricted. If you are unsure about an item, call us before your appointment and we will tell you honestly what we can take and what needs another route.
